Welcome to Duck Duck Moose

General Info

Tucked into a relaxed corner of Wyong, Duck Duck Moose at B/7 Alison Rd feels like the kind of cafe you return to without overthinking it. The vibe is easygoing, the space is welcoming, and the focus is clearly on food that’s made to be enjoyed, not overcomplicated. Whether you’re popping in for breakfast or stopping by for a quick bite, the experience feels natural and unforced.

The menu balances comfort and creativity in a way that works for regulars and first-time visitors alike. One of the highlights is the Carrot Muffin with Cream Cheese-soft, lightly spiced, and finished with just the right amount of creamy topping. It pairs effortlessly with a Flat White Coffee, which is smooth, well-balanced, and ideal for lingering conversations or a quiet solo moment. These small details are what make the cafe feel thoughtful without trying too hard.

Breakfast is where Duck Duck Moose really shines. The Vegetarian Breakfast Burger is hearty and satisfying, offering a solid option for those wanting something filling yet meat-free. It’s the kind of dish that feels indulgent but still appropriate for a morning meal. For something more classic, the Chicken Breast Toastie delivers warmth and comfort, with flavors that feel familiar in the best possible way.

As the day rolls on, the Naan Pizza adds a fun twist to the lineup. Using naan as the base gives it a light yet chewy texture, making it a great choice when you want something different but still comforting. It’s easy to see why this dish has found its place among the cafe’s popular picks.

Beyond the food, the services add to the overall ease of the visit. The cafe offers wheelchair-accessible seating, making the space comfortable for everyone. Payment is simple too, with NFC mobile payments and credit cards accepted, so there’s no friction when it’s time to head out. The atmosphere encourages relaxed dining, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a slower meal.

Among local reviews, Duck Duck Moose often comes across as a dependable spot-one of those locations where the menu, service, and overall feel come together naturally. It’s not flashy, but it doesn’t need to be. The experience speaks for itself through good food, thoughtful service, and a genuine cafe atmosphere that feels right at home in Wyong.

“ I can see why this place has lots of great reviews. Friendly staff, food is fresh and delicious, amazing coffee and a good playlist. Also we all can appreciate a good poached egg? This was up there with the top poached egg awards. ”

“ Duck Duck Moose is an excellent and cosy cafe in Wyong. I have never had a bad experience here, and everything I have tried has been delicious. Their iced mochas are the best I have found around this area of the Central Coast. They include gluten free and coeliac safe options in their menu, including the divine banana pancakes (with toasted macadamia and coconut, fresh seasonal fruit, vanilla bean ice cream and lemon myrtle syrup) and the fantastic simply dote (grilled halloumi, garlic roast roma tomatoes, smashed avocado, baby rocket, poached egg + sourdough or GF bread). Both are fantastic options, and there are more GF options to have. Even thinking about these meals makes me feel hungry. If you are looking for a great cafe: look no further! ”
